The HR Applications Analyst is responsible primarily for configuration and production support of our Workday platform. This position is aligned with the Global HCM Support team, to provide systems, data implementation and support, reports and analysis for improved decision making and efficient work processes for modules such as Absence, Security, Payroll, and Compensation. The incumbent holding this role provides workflow and business process design analysis expertise to recommend and implement technology solutions that improve the delivery and efficiency of HR Shared Services; insuring systems applications are aligned and meet the needs of employees, HR Operations Center, Compensation, and Corporate Benefits. Establish control-related standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for configuration and administration/support of the global Workday system.
Maintains accountability for issue resolution, including analysis of problems/issues, testing, and documentation/communication of resolution to affected areas.
Monitors, evaluates and analyzes all scheduled processes with a focus towards efficiencies and consistent behaviors. Coordination and implementation of process improvements as necessary.
Provides ongoing support, including Workday upgrades and weekly maintenance/updates.
Partnership with the Global HCM Support team members to evaluate current business processes, with root cause analysis for issues derived from HCM changes. Works together to establish acceptable protocol/processes to remediate all identified issues.
Creation and support of reports designed to facilitate tasks within the local HR community.
Stays up-to-date on appropriate technology, innovation and learning for Workday endeavors.
Understand and Partner with the Global HCM team to understand the modules/functionality used globally. Leverage this knowledge in regression testing, review/implementation of new processes, policies, and plans. Coordinate with the Regional Workday Admins for benefits related items which could impact our global user community.

Educational/Position Requirements:
Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience, in Business, Human Resources or Information Systems.
Proficient Workday configuration, primarily Payroll, Security Administration, Compensation, and/or Absence.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Strong communication skills.
